San Gabriel Valley Choral Company
Dr. Alexandra Grabarchuk, Artistic Director

Our Mission
The San Gabriel Valley Choral Company’s mission is to provide opportunities for local musicians to perform, to offer quality cultural experiences to area residents, and to expose people young and old to broadened musical horizons.
2018-2019 Season
The San Gabriel Valley Choral Company (SGVCC) was founded by Dr. Thomas M. Miyake in September 1995 to provide local singers the opportunity to “stretch their minds and vocal chords.” The ensemble is comprised of singers from the San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire and other local communities. Their repertoire has included music from the Renaissance period to works of the late 20th century. Along with more traditional selections, music performed has included avant-garde, jazz, a Broadway musical review, and staged productions.
In March 1999, the SGVCC was selected to perform at the American Choral Directors Association/California Music Educators Association annual convention.  In 2002, the SGVCC went on a concert tour of China.
SGVCC continued its tradition of fine choral music with Artistic Director Zanaida Robles from 2012-2017. In the spring of 2017, it was announced that Dr. Alexandra Grabarchuk would be the new Artistic Director.
